20cm Fresh - Clear and Calm

Morning all! It's a powder day! 20cm of fresh snow over the whole mountain from the recent storm on top of 15cm earlier in the week. After being closed yesterday, patrol have had time to complete avalanche control work and observe the snow pack.

Today will be an awesome day, currently clear skies and light winds, the sun will be out and doing its thing! Forecast is for clearing skies and fine weather this morning.

Chains are required for 2WD vehicles this morning, please be safe and obey the access road speed limit of 40kph.

Today we have the Dynastar CHILL Gromfest, free entry and open to all groms aged 6-15 years. Any young skiers and riders wanting to compete in a freeride big mountain and mini freestyle jam today, please get to the ticket office picnic tables between 9-9:45am to register. It's going to be a great day and great event. Free BBQ lunch for competitors.
