Welcome to Porters 2010 season passes.
Our season passes offer superb value for skiing and snowboarding throughout the winter season. Once again, we’re offering a wide range of pass options to suit, along with a new concept that will be exciting for many of you.
Your Porters season pass also gives you discounts at some other South Island ski areas – see below for more information.

NEW AT PORTERS FOR 2010!
The ULTIMATE Porters Family Season Pass – giving you full access season passes for 2 adults and 2 children under 18 (youth), with unlimited skiing and riding during the 2010 season
The ULTIMATE Porters Family Season Pass is on sale during April and is available to immediate family members only. Each family pass costs $995, with each additional child of the same immediate family costing an extra $100.
In this context an adult is a parent, a grandparent or an adult child. Maximum two adult passes per family season pass. Similarly, each child in the family is considered that of a youth pass, under 18 at the time of pass purchase. Please note also that children under the age of 7 ski for free at Porters, as do those over the age of 75.
Our goal is to encourage more family participation in the lifelong activities of skiing and snowboarding, while providing great value for our guests. We believe a family season pass at Porters offers exceptional value and flexibility, representing the most affordable family skiing & snowboarding opportunity in New Zealand.
Children must be under 18 at the time of family season pass purchase. Porters reserve the right to request proof of each family members parents etc, to ensure that each family pass is issued to immediate family members only.
Please note that the Porters ULTIMATE Family Season Passes are only available until 30 April 2010. No family season passes will be sold after this date.

Season Pass Rates
Porters season passes will be made available exclusively through the Porters online store system. The sales period will commence on the 15th March 2010 and will run through until midnight on the 30th of April 2010.
Some season pass-holders from the 2009 winter season also receive a $50 loyalty discount (adult and student full passes only).
Have a look through the pricing and information below, and once you've decided what you need, head through to our online shop to complete your purchase (from 15th March 2010).
These Early Bird rates apply to online applications only.
Children under 7 just pay a $30 processing fee. All season passes are valid throughout the 2010 season, including the school holidays.
Please note: The age definitions stipulated above represent the relevant pass-holders age at the start of the 2010 winter season (25th June 2010). Porters reserve the right to ask for proof of age and family association (family season pass) in order to confirm a customers age and/or family eligibility.
Porters Season Pass Warranty
If you’re an Early Bird season pass holder, you might like to buy a warranty. They’re $50 each or $90 for families (no charge for full-price season pass holders, purchased after 15th June). A warranty means that if for any reason you don’t want your 2010 season pass, all you have to do is return it to us before the 15th of July 2010 and we’ll give you a voucher for a 2011 pass.
Warranties only apply for a single season – the pass may only be up-taken in the following season. Passes are not refundable, even if they had little or no use, or were not collected. If no warranty is purchased, passes cannot be transferred to next season. There are no cash refunds under any circumstances.

Payment for your pass
There are a two ways to secure a pass:
• CREDIT CARD ONLINE - you can buy a pass through our secure online shopping cart. Early Bird season passes are available to purchase from the 15th March 2010 until the 30th of April 2010.

• CHEQUE – If you wish to pay via cheque, you’re still required to fill in an online application form. After you’ve made your pass selections for you and your family, and are happy with your shopping cart, proceed to the ‘Pay by Cheque’ option from the check out, and details of where to send your payment to will be supplied. $20 needs to be added to each pass which is paid by cheque.
Season Pass Photos
Upload your photo through the online application form at the same time as you enter your details; please ensure that the jpeg photo is passport style (clearly shows your face and features, with no hats or eyewear), is current and is not larger than 100KB.
If you bought a 2009 season pass, we already have your photo on file. You can select for us to use an existing photo (as long as it is still current) as you complete your application.
All passes are printed on digital security cards.
Bonus Discounts
All full season passes (excl. mid-week) come with reciprocated lift pass discounts: $20 adult, $15 student, $10 youth at the following ski areas:
Mt Hutt, Mt Ruapehu, Cardrona, and The Remarkables. Similar discounts apply at Mt Dobson and Mt Lyford.

To be considered full time you must attend such institution a minimum of 32 weeks in a calendar year. Student ID and proof of full time status in the form of a letter from the institution to be presented at the time of pass collection. ID card must be in English and include a valid expiry date. ISIC cards not accepted. |
